The NBSAP Accelerator Partnership's interim Global Coordination Unit (i-GCU) consists of a team with diverse expertise in various fields relevant to NBSAP implementation, including resource mobilization, communications and outreach, capacity building, project management, and monitoring and evaluation, among others.

Global Coordinator

Led by Colombia and Germany, the NBSAP Accelerator Partnership brings together countries, institutions, and non-state actors, with a Whole of Government and a Whole of Society approach, to strengthen global ambition on biodiversity action. Supported by an interim Global Coordination Unit (i-GCU), work is underway to raise profile of NBSAPs and promote nature-positive action, fast track technical and financial implementation support through a matchmaking service, bolster country-driven stakeholder approaches and share best practices, increase access to expertise, knowledge, and capacity development and coordinate and facilitate support to countries and regions.
