On 14-15 May 2026, the NBSAP Accelerator Partnership participated in the BIODEV2030 Legacy Workshop in Nairobi, convened by IUCN and Kenya’s Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry. The event highlighted the direct link between BIODEV2030’s work on biodiversity mainstreaming and the Partnership’s support to Kenya in operationalizing its National Biodiversity Coordination Mechanism.
The final days of the Vanuatu–Galápagos Knowledge Exchange brought the delegation from institutional sessions to community practice — visiting agro-tourism farms, a forest nursery, and local authorities to explore how the Galápagos conservation finance model reaches the people who depend on it.
