Peru’s Ministry of Environment convened a macroregional workshop in Chiclayo bringing together more than 60 representatives from 13 subnational governments to strengthen the alignment of Subnational Biodiversity Strategies with the national NBSAP and accelerate implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework at the territorial level.
Youth leadership took centre stage at the Pacific Innovation Forum on Climate and the Environment (PIFCE), where the NBSAP Accelerator Partnership supported Vanuatu in engaging the next generation of biodiversity leaders.
