The 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80) opens on 9 September 2025, with its High-Level Week from 22–30 September. Its theme this year is “Better together: 80 years and more for peace, development and human rights.”
UNGA 80 will feature the General Debate from 23–27 September, the SDG Moment, side-events, thematic discussions including climate, human rights, and global solidarity, and reflect on the UN’s 80-year journey in multilateralism.

The NBSAP Accelerator Partnership is a country-led initiative that supports the implementation of NBSAPs to collectively achieve the goals and targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. It is co-chaired by Colombia and Germany, supported by the governments of Germany, Norway, Canada and France, and coordinated by a Global Coordination Unit hosted by the Secretariat of the CBD, UNDP and UNEP.
