Yerevan, Armenia | 19-30 October 2026
The 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 17) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) will take place in Yerevan, Armenia, from 19-30 October 2026. The conference will convene Parties and stakeholders to advance global cooperation on biodiversity conservation and implementation.
The meeting will also include the 12th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (CP-MOP-12) and the sixth Meeting of the Parties to the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-Sharing (NP-MOP-6). Further information will be made available as preparations continue.

The NBSAP Accelerator Partnership is a country-led initiative that supports the implementation of NBSAPs to collectively achieve the goals and targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. It is co-chaired by Colombia and Germany, supported by the governments of Germany, Norway, Canada and France, and coordinated by a Global Coordination Unit hosted by the Secretariat of the CBD, UNDP and UNEP.
