NBSAP Accelerator Partnership | Events

Lima, Peru | 30 September – 02 October 2025

The 24th Meeting of the Forum of Ministers of Environment of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) will be held at the Sheraton Lima Historic Center. The High-Level Officials segment will take place on 29–30 September, followed by the ministerial segment on 1–2 October.

Preceding events include the Regional Consultative Meeting of Civil Society (29 September) and the LAC Youth Environment Forum (LACYEF) on 27 September, both in Lima. Participation in these meetings is by invitation only.

The NBSAP Accelerator Partnership is a country-led initiative that supports the implementation of NBSAPs to collectively achieve the goals and targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. It is co-chaired by Colombia and Germany, supported by the governments of Germany, Norway, Canada and France, and coordinated by a Global Coordination Unit hosted by the Secretariat of the CBD, UNDP and UNEP.
