Convened under the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), this global forum reviews implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In 2025, the theme is “Accelerating recovery from COVID‑19 and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda.” The program includes Voluntary National Reviews, thematic SDG sessions, and a ministerial segment from 21-23 July.
HLPF will spotlight interlinkages between development, climate, and biodiversity and serve as a vital space for governments and stakeholders to share lessons and commitments.

The NBSAP Accelerator Partnership is a country-led initiative that supports the implementation of NBSAPs to collectively achieve the goals and targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. It is co-chaired by Colombia and Germany, supported by the governments of Germany, Norway, Canada and France, and coordinated by a Global Coordination Unit hosted by the Secretariat of the CBD, UNDP and UNEP.
