Ministerial roundtable on synergies hosted by Colombia and Germany at UNGA80

On the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80), Colombia and Germany, co-chairs of the NBSAP Accelerator Partnership, will host a high-level ministerial roundtable to strengthen political will and advance synergies across climate, biodiversity, and land.
The dialogue will bring ministers and global leaders together to articulate a shared political vision for integrated implementation of the Rio Conventions, discuss pathways towards COP30 and beyond, and highlight policy actions and financing solutions to accelerate progress on the 2030 Agenda.

The NBSAP Accelerator Partnership is a country-led initiative that supports the implementation of NBSAPs to collectively achieve the goals and targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. It is co-chaired by Colombia and Germany, supported by the governments of Germany, Norway, Canada and France, and coordinated by a Global Coordination Unit hosted by the Secretariat of the CBD, UNDP and UNEP.
