A month of action

Throughout May, more than 30 events will take place across Ecuador’s four regions. The agenda includes conferences, workshops, photographic and film exhibitions, community minga and reforestation days, fairs, and other activities coordinated with Alliance for Biodiversity members.

Innovation and bio-entrepreneurship

As part of its contribution, the NBSAP Accelerator Partnership will organise a Fair for Innovation and Bio-entrepreneurship, showcasing solutions and local entrepreneurs advancing biodiversity-positive practices, and reaffirming its commitment to collaborative action in support of biodiversity strategy implementation across the region.

It is co-chaired by Colombia and Germany, supported by the governments of Germany, Norway, Canada and France, and coordinated by a Global Coordination Unit hosted by the Secretariat of the CBD, UNDP and UNEP.
