UN Climate Change Conference COP 30

The 2025 UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP30) will convene in Belém, in Brazil’s Amazon region. The Conference will include COP30, CMP20, and CMA7, alongside sessions of the Subsidiary Bodies (SBSTA 63 and SBI 63).
COP 30 is expected to be a landmark moment for global climate action, focusing on ambitious nationally determined contributions (NDCs) aligned with the 1.5°C goal. Discussions will also highlight the synergies between climate action, biodiversity, and sustainable development, recognizing the need for integrated solutions to address interlinked crises.

The NBSAP Accelerator Partnership is a country-led initiative that supports the implementation of NBSAPs to collectively achieve the goals and targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. It is co-chaired by Colombia and Germany, supported by the governments of Germany, Norway, Canada and France, and coordinated by a Global Coordination Unit hosted by the Secretariat of the CBD, UNDP and UNEP.
