Davos, Switzerland | 14-19 June 2026

Under the theme “Leading Transformation Together,” the fourth edition of the World Biodiversity Forum will take place in Davos from 14-19 June 2026. The forum will convene participants across sectors and generations to explore actionable solutions to biodiversity loss and interconnected planetary crises affecting planetary health and social justice.

The meeting will focus on co-developing biodiversity-positive futures, addressing underlying social and cultural drivers of environmental degradation, and strengthening just and equitable structures and practices. It will also support implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework by bringing together science, arts, society, and business to build leadership and networks for transformation.

The NBSAP Accelerator Partnership is a country-led initiative that supports the implementation of NBSAPs to collectively achieve the goals and targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. It is co-chaired by Colombia and Germany, supported by the governments of Germany, Norway, Canada and France, and coordinated by a Global Coordination Unit hosted by the Secretariat of the CBD, UNDP and UNEP.
