Pacific Island countries will gather in Apia to strengthen policy coherence at the climate and nature nexus, with support from UNEP and SPREP. The workshop will introduce tools for integrated national action and help identify regional priorities for advancing whole-of-government approaches across multilateral environmental agreements.
Participants from seven countries will gather in Nairobi for a focused training on gender-transformative approaches to biodiversity planning, as part of the Canada-funded project on gender equality and biodiversity conservation. The workshop will build technical capacity and co-develop national strategies aligned with GBF Targets 22 and 23 and the CBD Gender Plan of Action.
